Xbox Edgeucation Ep. 27

podcastep26

We assure you this is Episode 27, with a stint of Peter going time tripping to present a reference alluding to this being Episode 26.  After the brief instance of trying to be mildly clever goes wrong, Eric and Peter revisit Borderlands 2, talking about crit-walking and turret tossing, as well as going more in depth on what we think are its weaknesses.

With the imminent release of Dishonored there is some enthusiastic conversation about how we are very much looking forward to this brand new franchise.  The zombie quota is filled with the Walking Dead Episode 4 trailer, and the total sales of the Left 4 Dead series with speculation if/when the third game will drop.  To round up news, we discuss the possibility of the X-com shooter (not to be confused with the X-com Strategy game by Firaxis coming out this week) moving from first person to third person, and coming out as a download rather than an on disc release.

Again, Peter gets on his competitive fighting game soap box, giving Eric the rushdown on what popped off at Season's Beatings: Ascension.  The short summary, hype went down.  For the breakdown and tangents listen past the music break at: 00:44:05.

Intro Music: "Machine Gun" (16 Bit Remix) - Nosia
Music Interlude: "Shortys' Judgement" - Herbalizer
