Take-Two Confirms WWE Publishing Deal

When THQ was going through it's bankruptcy proceedings one of the major questions was where the WWE license would end up. WWE itself was involved in the bankruptcy process to help determine where their property would land.
Take-Two has now confirmed that they will be taking up the mantle left behind by THQ and will be publishing WWE games moving forward. In a statement to IGN a 2K rep said:
"We can confirm that we have entered into an agreement to publish the WWE video game series that is developed by Yukes. At this time, the agreement is pending court approval and we anticipate that it will be finalized shortly. We are very excited about the potential of this agreement and will have more to share at the appropriate time.”
