Activision has rebranded their upcoming shooter based on The Walking Dead TV show on AMC by adding a subtitle to the name. The game which will follow the story of Merle and Darryl Dixon before the events of the TV show will now be called The Walking Dead: Survival Instincts.
In the game players will have the option to confront the hordes of the undead head on or try to avoid them. The Walking Dead: Survival Instincts is being developed by Terminal Reality who have previously worked on Atari's Ghostbusters: The Video Game and Majesco's BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2, and Kinect Star Wars.
The addition of a subtitle could potentially leave the door open for Activision to create other Walking Dead games, perhaps based on different characters.
