The Walking Dead Retail Release

If your reading this article and haven't played The Walking Dead games by Telltale Games you need to reevaluate some life choices. We may be a bit biased because we love the games but they really are a great narrative driven experience that follows the dark themes of the comics.
With each episode being released digitally over the last six months, Telltale Games will be compiling each episode for a retail release just in time for Christmas. A standard retail disc will be released along with a Collector's Edition which is said to be "extremely limited" and can only be pre-order through GameStop.
The Collector's Edition which will be priced at $69.99 includes:
- The Walking Dead Compendium One featuring exclusive Charlie Adlard cover art. Over 1,000 pages collecting the first 48 issues of Robert Kirkman's award-winning comic book series. (Standard edition of the first compendium without special edition artwork valued at an MSRP of $59.99 USD. This Collector's Edition of the Compendium will not be sold separately.)
- Collector's Edition box with Charlie Adlard artwork
- Game disc containing the entire first season including Episodes 1 through 5
The standard retail copy will be available for $29.99. Telltale also gave fans a release window to expect episode five 'No Time Left' as sometime in November. With the retail released of The Walking Dead pegged as December 4th I would bet the fifth episode will be released in early November.
