Halo 4 Trailer Being Produced by David Fincher

While progress on a Halo movie is currently a no go, top Hollywood talent is still hovering around the franchise. The new trailer for Halo 4 set to debut on Jimmy Fallon Live on Oct. 18 is being produced by David Fincher and directed by Tim Miller.
Fincher has directed movies such at Fight Club, The Social Network, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and many others. Tim Miller served as the special effect lead on Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
Regarding the new trailer Microsoft has said that "Fincher and Miller will help deliver an emotionally-charged look at the backstory of Halo’s iconic hero, the Master Chief." Fincher has described the trailer as "hybridized live-action/CGI." The trailer is tittled scanned, set for a run time of two minutes it will feature "the new threat" that the Master Chief will encounter in Halo 4.
“Halo is one of the most iconic sci-fi universes, with a depth that allows for amazingly cinematic and emotionally riveting stories,” Miller said. “The chance to tell a story that explores never-before-seen facets of Master Chief’s journey is an honor. Our goal is to deliver a blockbuster, Hollywood-quality trailer that raises the bar for the award-winning legacy of live-action Halo storytelling and gets fans stoked for the return of Master Chief.”
