Borderlands 2 Mechromancer Class Now Available

Gearbox Software announced late last night that the Mechromancer character class DLC would be available today. The DLC was originally set for release on October 16th but the developers have decided to release the character named Gaige to gamers everywhere one week early.
Gaige has the action skill ability to summon (or construct?) an allied robot named Death Trap to fight alongside her. The Mechromancer DLC is free to anyone who pre-ordered Borderlands 2 and joined the Premiere Club. For everyone else the DLC will cost $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points.
For those of you stuck at school or work and can't wait to get home to try out Gaige and her trusty companion Death Trap, Gearbox has added the Mechromancer skill tree to their website. Have fun making the perfect build!
