Cliff Bleszinski Parts Ways with Epic Games

Cliff Bleszinski, the man who helped shape the Unreal and Gears of War franchises as decided to leave Epic Games after 20 years in order to "chart the next stage of his career."
On the company's official website it was announced that the acclaimed design director would be leaving the company for "a much needed break."
"I’ve been doing this since I was a teenager, and outside of my sabbatical last year, I have been going non-stop," Bleszinski said in a statement. "I literally grew up in this business, as [Epic Games president Mike Capps] likes to say. And now that I’m grown up, it’s time for a much needed break."
Blesziski's depature from Epic Games seems to be on good terms with company founder Time Sweeney, President Mike Capps and Vice-President Mark Rein applauding Blesziski's work and wishing him well in the future.
