Minecraft Sells 4 Million on XBLA

The Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft that was released earlier this year has now sold over four million copies on Xbox Live Arcade. Developer 4J Studios sent out this tweet announcing the new sales plateau "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has passed 4 million sales! Incredible number, thanks to you all!"
The last sales figure released about Minecraft was it surpassing the 3 Million sales mark back in July. This means that the game was downloaded an additional one million times in the last two months, much more than the lifetime sales some other XBLA games.
In August alone Minecraft was moving 17,000 copies per day making $340,000 every 24 hours. It doesn't look like the Minecraft train is slowing down anytime soon.
