The fall game rush doesn't officially start until Mountain Dew and Doritos starts integrating their brands with that of a video game. This year that game is Halo 4, arguably one of the bigger releases of the holiday season.
PepsiCo, which owns both Doritos and Mountain Dew have announced that gamers can level up quicker by getting a special code from one of their products. Starting October 15th gamers can pick up Mountain Dew's special game fuel and specially marked packages of Doritos to get special promotion codes than can be entered on the promotion's website here.
Players will also be able to customize their armor and weapon loadouts through the above website before even playing a match.
Halo 4 will be hitting stores on Novemebr 6th, 2012.
