Last week superstar Japanese game developer Keiji Inafune announced his new zombie ninja game called Yaiba. Today at TGS it was revealed that it is actually Ninja Gaiden Z, a new installment in the popular ninja franchise.
A new trailer (which can be found below), shown at TGS today reveals much more than the initial reveal trailer. The most notable addition to the trailer is that two ninjas will inhabit the game. The new cybernetic ninja Yaiba will be duking it out with Ninja Gaidien's Ryu Hayabusa, Yaiba even exclaims "I'm coming for you, Ryu."
It is unclear whether Ryu will be a playable character but may actually portral the antagonist of the game. Yaiba was slain by Ryu and is now back from the dead looking for vengance, in addition to mowing down the zombie horde.
Yaiba or Ninja Gaiden Z is being developed not only by Keiji Inafune's studio Comcept but Spark Unlimited and the Ninja Gaiden studio Team Ninja.
