Dragon's Dogma gets Easy Mode

If Dragon's Dogma's difficulty was your reason for staying away from the game it is no longer an issue. Capcom has announced that on August 6 the game will be receiving a patch adding a new Easy Mode for players to switch to if they desire.

The publisher also announced that the game will be getting a new demo featuring the opening of the game up until the hydra battle. So far it has only been dated for Japan with no current release for North America.

Capcom has already announced that Dragon's Dogma has shipped over 1 million units worldwide and will become a new major franchise.
