Aliens: Colonial Marines gets trailer and release date

Gearbox has an answer for all those fans of the original Alien movie, with a video game sequel taking place after the first movie. Aliens: Colonial Marines. Billed as a sci-fi horror first person shooter, Colonial Marines will take you through the footsteps of the search and rescue operation for Ellen Riply and the Sulaco crew.

The game features single player, cooperative gameplay as well as a multiplayer mode where you'll have the chance to play as a Xenomorph. While the Marines are playable in first person the Xenomorph's will be strictly third person.

Aliens: Colonial Marines will be released on February 12, 2013 for the the Xbox 360.
