South Park game delayed; Itagaki's Devil's Third may be dropped

During THQ's financial call they released two big pieces of news, one being that the upcomig and newly titled South Park: The Stick of Truth was been pushed to sometime between late 2012 and first quarter 2013. The second is they are considering no longer publishing Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden dev, Tomonobu Itagaki's upcoming Devil's Third.

Regarding their thoughts about Devil's Third THQ's president and CEO Brian Ferrell said, "The profitability profile for Devil’s Third no longer met our internal threshold and we are currently in discussions with third parties regarding the future of this title."

South Park may now be joining a couple other games that were also delayed to 2013 including Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider.
