Mass Effect 3 sells over 1M copies in the first month!

According to NPD data provided to JoyStiq, Mass Effect 3 recorded 1.3 million in sales for the first month in the US across the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

The above figure only takes into account retail sales and does not include digital distribution methods. While the NPD figures do not break the sales count down by platform, Microsoft's Aaron Greenburg tweeted that the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 3 sold more than 943,000 during the first month. This indicates that the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 3 outsold the PS3 version by a large margin, at least at retail.
